Welcome to Hebron Trust

Hebron House is a safe, nurturing and intensively supportive community environment in which to rehabilitate from drug and alcohol dependency and the life-dominating problems that serious substance misuse can cause.

As a resident you will remove yourself from your immediate environment and join up to nine other women aged 18+ who share the common goal of recovery. By leaving home you will break free from old contacts and by joining a sheltered community you will be able to focus fully on your recovery without distraction.

The content of this website has been written for individuals who are interested in rehabilitation for themselves, but we have aimed to include all information necessary for professionals, concerned friends, family and others who want to learn more about Hebron Trust. Hebron Trust is a member of eATA.

If you are considering rehab then we understand that you will want to know as much about Hebron House as possible, so please do not hesitate to pick up the phone and have a chat with us! We have also put together some FAQs which you might find useful.

Kind words from our clients

“When I came to Hebron I was totally broken – my mind, body and spirit was in pieces. You have helped me to become strong and believe in myself. Through my time at Hebron, I now have hope for a better and more positive future”

“I was a mess when I first came to Hebron, but now as I’m leaving I feel a much better person. I know my girls are proud of the work Hebron have done with me – I’m going back to them as a mum and a nan, not a drunk”

“All the staff are very caring and understanding and are there 24/7. All the staff are different and always one of them could help”

“I would like to thank all of the staff and volunteers for giving me this amazing opportunity … I am so so grateful to each and everyone of those people. Thank you”

“Just a little note to let you know I am still sober … I am working as a Housekeeper Support Worker … I will always, as ever, be grateful for your help in making all this possible”

Words from our funders

Having visited Hebron personally, I always remember the lovely warm atmosphere, which is vital for our client group who may have not experienced a heart in a home.  There are so few ‘all-female’ services left to access now, it is vital we support this facility.

We have sent some particularly difficult and vulnerable females to Hebron House.  The staff at Hebron have (as a result of the nature of our complex client group) been exposed to a lot of challenges.  Hebron staff have always supported the client, despite what has been said, the accompanying threats and personal insults delivered directly to them.

The staff at Hebron have turned lives around in an incredibly short space of time and despite some of the negative behaviour suffered, staff have been able to hold on to the bigger picture for these ladies.

I trust the decisions made at Hebron and always know my clients are in the best of hands.  I strongly recommend this all-female service and hope it is valued for many years to come.
